Fear of going fully grey - Many people want to embrace their grey but don't want a sudden change or to be fully natural. I work on correcting the hair then find you a colour you will love. Grey Blending does not mean fully grey, unless you want it to.

Flat and dull grey tones - Natural greys can look dull and make you feel washed out. I enhance your natural colour with dimension, tone correction to suit your complexion and added shine.

Loss of identity - Hair changes can feel aging and not like you. I help my clients feel modern, intentional and confident.

The Refined Grey Blend

Refined grey blending designed to give you freedom and confidence

We start your journey with a online consultation, this a chat about your hair history, your life style and your hair goals. we then book your first 3 appointments in the dairy, usually around 4 weeks apart. You will receive a skin test pack in the post for you to complete at home in time for your first appointment. We book the remaining appointments during your journey, as your grey blend starts to become more low maintenance.

Your grey blend journey is a 3-6 month process that will take you to the mutually agreed hair goal. I will work on breaking up the line of demarcation, remove the warmth and give you a low maintenance, natural blend. I provide products and treatments throughout your grey blend journey including home hair care that you will take away with you from your first appointment.

When your journey is complete, you have the option of maintenance days with me, these are usually around every 3-6 months. Include a colour refresh, cut and blow dry and home hair care tailored to your needs.

What's included in your grey blend transformation?

I include everything you need to achieve your hair goal. The colour services, treatments, cuts, blow dries and styling. Parsonalised home hair products and routine to follow throughout your transformation.

How long after a hair colour can I start my grey blending journey?

For best results you will need at least an 8 week regrowth. This gives me enough hair to see your natural regrowth pattern.

What if I don't want to be fully grey?

You don't have to, we set a goal together. Grey blending can give a perfect middle ground to give you freedom and confidence.

How often will I need to to come to the salon?

Appointments start at every 3-4 weeks, moving to 6-8 weeks and then 10-12 weeks.

During this time we evaluate your progress until we are at your agreed hair goal.

What happens when the transformation is complete?

Once we agree we have achieved the hair goal, you can then choose to move on to maintenance appointments (£400) to maintain your hair colour with me or choose to continue toners, cuts and blow dries with your original hairdresser closer to home.

If this is what you’ve heard it’s all wrong!

Most of my grey blending clients like coming into the salon for their colour maintenance. They like their highlights, brightening up their face frame. A toner to soften their colour. Low lights to break up the grey hair and keep them a brunette. They like blonde peices and depth.

The point is they have the freedom to stay on trend with their hair colour but with low maintenance that fits into their lives.

What is a line of demarcation?

When we are talking about hair colour, it means that root line as the colour starts to grow out.

With grey hair, covering with a permanent root colour creates a line of demarcation, for some within only 2 weeks greys start to appear.

The key to grey blending is to break that line of demarcation with specific foiling techniques and products placement.

There can still be greys but they blend.

Some colour services used for this reason can cause brassiness and looking like you have a block colour. This isn’t always the answer. Grey blending is more refined than this.

It’s all about the blend, without the brass..

The first session we work mostly on blending the line of demarcation (the stripe you get from a root colour grow out) This can take more appointments to get the perfect blend.

Maintenance depends on the end goal. More work may be needed to achieve your goal.

The ultimate goal is for you to love your hair for longer between appointments.
