The stages of a grey blend transformtion
It all begins at the Consultation..
Every grey blend colour journey begins with a thorough consultation. During this appointment, I take time to understand your hair history, lifestyle, maintenance preferences and hair colour goals. I assess your natural colour, grey percentage, hair condition and growth pattern to create a personalised plan that works for you. Together we disscuss the best techniques, expected results and appointment schedule, ensuring you feel confident and informed before we begin.
Whats included in a grey blend transformation and how long does it take?
After your consultation, where we chat about your hair history, your life style and your hair goals. I will send you a link to complete your colour analysis questionnaire, this report will go to your email and will give us a guide as we transform your hair.
We then book your first 3 appointments in the dairy, usually around 4 weeks apart and are booked in for 4-5 hours per session. This is where we work on building a foundation to begin to work towards your hair goal. Grey blending often requires extensive colour correction work.
We then go on to book the remaining appointments during your journey, as your grey blend starts to become more low maintenance. these appointments are used to edit the colour where needed as we head towards your goal.
Your grey blend journey is a 3-6 month process that will take you to the mutually agreed hair goal. I will work on breaking up the line of demarcation, remove the warmth and give you a low maintenance, natural blend. I provide products and treatments throughout your grey blend journey including home hair care that you will take away with you from your first appointment.
When your journey is complete, you have the option of further sessions with me, these include The Grey Blend Edit or The Grey Blend Refresh. If your goal is to go fully natural you may only need a toner refresh and treatments until all the colour has grown out.

As part of The Refined Grey Blend experience, you'll receive a personalised professional colour analysis report designed to help you feel confident not only in your hair colour but in your overall look.
Using a professional colour analysis, I will identify the tones that naturally compliment your skin, eyes and features. Your report will include recommendations for the most flattering hair tones, make up shades, nail colours, jewelry and clothing to enhance your natural colouring to work with your grey blending transformation.
The personalised guide takes the guesswork out of colour choices, helping you create a look that feels authentically you. Whether you're embracing your natural grey for the first time or refining your personal style, your colour analysis report provides expert guidance that you can refer back to long after your salon visit.

Rather than simply covering grey hair, I combine foiling and balayage techniques, highlights, lowlights, toners and customised colour placement to compliment your natural grey pattern, lifestyle and long term hair goal. The result is a softer, more seamless grow out that minimises the obvious regrowth line and reduces maintenance. By taking a long term approach, I create natural looking dimension and depth while enhancing your existing colour for a modern, effortless look. All appointments needed are included and booked in advance. We create a plan together and I am here to support you through your journey.
How to maintain grey blended hair.
When your grey blending transformation is complete and we have reached a mutually agreed goal you will continue your journey with maintenance appointments. This can be The Grey Blend Edit or The Grey Blend Refresh. If you are going fully natural you may need toners and treatments until your colour has grown out. Between these appointments its important that you look after your hair, grey hair needs moisture. Using quality shampoo and conditioner, regular treatments, minimal heat and when you do use heat apply a heat protector.
